Joseph "Bill" Leggett

Joseph William Leggett Sr., A retired head mechanic from Colfax Crow Creosote and lifelong resident of Fishville Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on July 25th, 2023 at the age of 68 while residing at Tioga Community Care Center.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leon Leggett and Myrtle Leggett, and his sister Bertha McVay. Bill is survived by his wife Sandra Leggett; His children, Tanya Belinski (Tommy), William Leggett (April), Ginnie Herrington (Matthew); his grandchildren, Haley Pritchard, Linsey Leggett, Levi Shader, Clara Belinski, Eli Herrington, and Matthew Herrington Jr.

Bill was an active outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish throughout the wood of Hardwater Lake. His favorite pastime was scouring the woods of Fishville did Native American Arrowheads, which he owned a vast collection of. Bill put all of his children as well as grandchildren above himself in any and all aspects.

August 4th, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. At Fall Creek Funeral Home, Pineville, LA

Burial:

August 4th, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. At Friendship Cemetery, Fishville
