Kenneth Bernard Gaines

Reverend Kenneth Bernard Gaines was born July 30, 1959, in Pineville Louisiana to the late Charles Allen Gaines Sr. and the late Reverend Katherine Davis-Gaines. He was the fifth of nine siblings. He is preceded in death by his three brothers: Charles Gaines Jr., Dewayne Gaines Sr., and Reginald Gaines Sr., as well as his sister Detria Gaines-Bethel. 

Reverend Kenneth Gaines, age 63, died at the V.A. Hospital on July 27th, 2023. He was reared in the Greater St. Lawrence Baptist church and remained a member there until his death. Rev. Gaines excepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He received his certificate of ordination with a license to preach on September 6, 2006. HE remained as an Assisted Minister at Greater St. Lawrence Baptist Church and an Interim Pastor at Grant Chapel AME Church, Lena, Louisiana. 

Reverend Gaines Motto: "I was called by God to be his servant and profess his word so every sinner would have knowledge of Jesus Christ. My aim was to continue to strengthen myself as I do that was being an living example and showing love through Jesus Christ, AMEN!"
